Flanagan's Wake

Prepare to mourn laugh at Flanagan's Wake

Flanagan's Wake is one of the longest running shows in Chicago theater history, playing in Chicago for twenty smash years! Gather together and pay your respects to Flanagan at this hilarious interactive Irish wake.
Flanagan’s Wake transports the audience to the fictional town of Grapplin, Ireland, where local roustabout Flanagan has died. The mourners pay their respects to the deceased in the Irish tradition (with a quick stop at the pub first). A talented cast of improvisers use your suggestions to fill in the night. You and your guests become part of the story as Flanagan's family and friends. Raise a glass for Flanagan!

Chicago Theater Works

1113 W. Belmont Avenue
Chicago, Illinois 60657

The new Chicago Theater Works makes its home in the heart of the Belmont Theater District at 1113 W. Belmont. Designed by Obora and Associates with interior design by Matthew Murray, this versatile space transforms into both a 200-seat German beer hall known as “Der Brew-Ha-Ha” for We Gotta Bingo and Vinnie Black’s Colosseum for Tony 'n Tina's 1980s wedding reception. The space is a new staple in the Chicago theater scene run by Bill Collins and Michael Dunne.
